We’re proud to share some exciting news: Tony DeFede, Partner and Chief Risk Officer at Union Risk, has been named a finalist for Emerging Talent of the Year at the 2025 US Captive Review Awards.
This award honors professionals under 35 who are shaping the future of the captive insurance industry — and we’re thrilled to see Tony recognized for his leadership and vision.
Over the past few years, Tony has helped Union Risk grow into a national leader in the captive space, overseeing more than $55 million in captive premium and delivering innovative solutions to clients in construction, transportation, real estate, and beyond.
“This nomination reflects the work we’re doing together with our clients and partners,” Tony said. “Captives are the future of commercial insurance, and we’re honored to be part of that movement.”
